Ductless mini-splits for Kyle
Kyle has grown fast, and most of its homes are newer builds with central air. Central systems work fine for most of the house, but they often struggle with the rooms at the end of the line: a bonus room, a room over the garage, or a converted garage.
A ductless mini-split heats and cools one space on its own, with its own thermostat. It’s the simplest fix for a room your central system can’t keep comfortable.
Hot rooms in newer homes
Rooms over garages and second-floor bonus rooms take the most heat in a Kyle summer. Adding a mini-split there means the room stays comfortable without turning the whole house’s thermostat down.
Garages and backyard buildings
Many Kyle homeowners are turning garages into gyms, workshops or living space, or adding a backyard office or studio. None of these usually have ductwork, which makes them a natural fit for a mini-split.

What a typical install looks like in Kyle
We start with a visit to look at the space: its size, insulation, windows and how much afternoon sun it gets. For garages, we also look at the garage door and how the space will be used.
On install day, we mount the indoor unit, run the line set and drain line through a small hole in the wall, set the outdoor unit, and connect the power. Most single-zone installs take about a day. A yearly tune-up and regular filter cleaning keep the system running efficiently.
