Mini-splits for Nashville
Nashville has been building fast, and a lot of its homes share the same comfort problems: a bonus room over the garage that’s hot in summer and cold in winter, a detached accessory dwelling unit (DADU) out back, or an older East Nashville bungalow that was never designed for central air.
A ductless mini-split heats and cools each of those spaces on its own, with its own thermostat and no new ductwork.
How our network works
Windsanity is based in Houston. In Nashville, the work is done by a trusted technician from our network who knows the area. We coordinate the job, from sizing and quoting to scheduling, and hold it to the same standards as our own installs.
Heating and cooling in one
Nashville gets both muggy summers and freezing winters. Because mini-splits are heat pumps, one system handles both seasons. For homes that need dependable heat in the coldest weather, we recommend cold-climate models.
Common Nashville projects
- Bonus rooms over garages
- Detached accessory dwelling units (DADUs) and backyard studios
- Older homes without central air
- Home offices and additions
What a typical install looks like in Nashville
It starts with a conversation with Windsanity. We ask about the space, collect photos, and line up a technician from our Nashville network to visit. They measure the room, check its insulation and windows, and confirm whether you need a standard or cold-climate model.
On install day, the technician mounts the indoor unit, runs the line set and drain line through a small hole in the wall, sets the outdoor unit, and connects the power. For a bonus room over the garage, the line set usually runs up the outside of the house in a paintable cover. Most single-zone installs take about a day.
We stay your point of contact afterward, for questions, warranty help or a yearly tune-up before the summer heat or the winter cold.
